The Advocates for Inmates Program is built from a network of concerned citizens who realize that inmates are human, too. To err is human, to forgive, divine…Here you will find ideas for rehabilitation, reform, prevention, educational and recovery programs, prison related issues, links to useful sites, letters from the those on the inside, messages of hope and unity, ideas for a positive change in our current faltering system. The majority of the inmates involved in our program share their experiences in the hopes of deterring youth from substance abuse and criminal activities, as well as keeping our communities alerted to the existing conditions in our correctional facilities.
